I am Mrs. Wills
- I have taught at Parkside since 2006. Before that, I taught physical education at South Elementary School in St. Peter, MN for 21 years.
- Before teaching, I worked as a Recreational Therapist at the St. Peter State Hospital, and I ran a private gymnastics club - The St. Peter Twisters.
- I am married to Rob Wills.
- My husband has competed in two Paralympic Games (Barcelona '92 and Atlanta '96) in weight lifting, and set a world record lifting 501.7 pounds.
- I have two daughters - Molly and Shelby.
- I was a competitive gymnast growing up. I competed in Trampoline and Tumbling for Gleason's Gymnastics Club and in High School (Coon Rapids) and College (Gustavus). When I was injured in gymnastics in college, I competed in diving.
- I have coached gymnastics (in St. Peter and Buffalo), Track & Field (in Le Sueur and St. Peter), soccer (in Mankato)
- I competed in equestrian Dressage with my horses Nero and Feliz.
- I have led backpacking trips through Kid Tracks (a non-profit organization that focused on environmental expeditions). We camped/backpacked in Isle Royale, Northern Minnesota, and Cloud Peak, Wyoming.
- I have run 5 marathons - one Twin Cities Marathon and 4 Grandma's Marathons. I need a knee replacement and can not run anymore.
- I have been blessed to have gone on two mission trips to Haiti. The first one was in June 2013 with my nephew Danny. We went with Healing Haiti. My sister Shelley led the trip. The second trip was in January 2014 with my sisters Shelley & Maria (co-leaders) and my daughter Shelby. This trip was through Reiser Relief.
- I love to move - and to try new ways of moving.
